HISTORY

More than 30years at the heart of fitness

A wealth of experience delivering core services such as the supply and service of innovative, environmentally friendly fitness equipment, design, build, fund and project management of sustainable, leisure developments and complete operational business support solutions, ideally positions Pulse as the leading Total Leisure Solutions provider.

1980 – Johnson brothers design and manufacture their first products – freeweights.

1983 – The Pulse brand is created and Pulse have 65 fitness products.

1985 – Premises are purchased in Congleton, Cheshire, UK.

1989 – Pulse pioneer leisure facility design & development through investment partnerships.

1992 – Pulse expands and begins producing its own range of cardio machines.

1995 – Pulse Germany office is opened to distribute products across Europe.

1997 – Pulse provide operational support to more than 70 leisure partners throughout the UK

2002 – Pulse move to bigger premises in Cheshire and now employ more than 100 people.

2004 – Pulse is represented in 20 countries with offices in UK, Germany and Ireland.

2005 – The Pulse group expands and creates its four leisure divisions.

2006 – Pulse launches gym management software – SmartCentre®.

2008 – Pulse adds interactive products to its portfolio.

2010 – Pulse opens new health and fitness centre in partnership with Carshalton College.

2011 – Pulse opens new 3G Soccer and Fitness centre in Wednesbury.

2013 – Pulse acquire new larger premises in Congleton to support the growth of the evolving fitness company.
